Learning with Play Dough

This week we learned about the writing process by using play dough instead of a pencil.  We worked through brainstorming, drafting, revising, editing and finally publishing.  Our pictures from this week show their creations.  They will have an opportunity to write about their creations this week.

We also started our independent reading time as well as weekly morning work.  Our morning work is catch-up time for those who need it.  Once you finished 2 jobs in your ketchup folder...then you can pick an activity from the morning table.  These include, puzzles, play dough, blocks and hidden pictures activities.
