Maple Syrup Field Trip

Last Week we were invited by the High School Academy students to participate in a maple syrup demonstration. At the pond located behind the High School, several students set up the buckets to catch the sap and cooked down the sap right there. It was a cold day for this excitment, but we were determined to see how maple syrup was made by the Native Americans. Enjoy this peek!

St. Patrick's Day Fun!

Even though we didn't see a leprechaun, we had alot of fun going on a scavenger hunt.  We worked in teams and walked around the school using clue to find hidden pictures.  When we returned, we had a fun surprise from Mrs. Montgomery.  She gave us all little hats and read a fun St. Patrick's day story.
I wonder if the Leprechaun got into our classroom over the weekend?
