We "Doctored" up our Contractions!
The past two weeks we have been working on contractions. To help us better understand that contractions are taking some letters out and inserting an apostrophe we stepped into the operating room. Everyone was given a set of words, an operating mask, scissors and of course a band-aid. First we surgically removed the unnecessary letters and then patched things up with a band-aid!
